I haven't gone out on New Year's Eve in 8 or so years I believe....
I hate the crowds, the cold, the crazy people
So as a compromise b/w going to bed and whooping it up- I went out with my family back home in small town land.
We hung out, had snacks and drinks--the boys played cards and then we walked to the local bar.
Justin says "hi"
My brother and his wife came out along with Jana, her four brother's and a girlfriend.
Here are some of us.
There are two bars in the "L".
This is our stop at the first...where we were compelled to do a new shot.
Kinky
How can you resist a name like that?
It was pretty good--little sweet/little tart
Here is bar number two.
This is me, my Aunt Pam, Jana and her daughter in law, Gail.
My Godmother, Ronda and Justin--her son to the left of her.
Can't beat running into all your friends and family while you're out for the night.
Abbie, Me and my cousin Jason. Hadn't been out with him in forever--was wonderful to have him back on the scene!
I think my new motto for the year is-
"When life hands you lemons...
"...do shots"
Clever aren't I?
I had so much fun!
I am so looking forward to this year and all the wonderful things it holds!
Happy New Year to you--I wish you more joy than your heart can hold!
